And new pieces continues

This is another custom piece for a repeat client. Fairly easy for the most part, but it does take time to work on the areas between each back slat.



This small bench looks like a complementary piece for the one above. Jamie, our daughter, saw this at a yard sale on her way home and gave us a call. Nancy and I drove over to Kimberly and picked it up.



July 4th is just around the corner. I've already done the Americana desk, so it seemed fitting that this student desk should also be done in the Americana motif.



I picked these bar stools up at auction. They are nice and sturdy!





This nice Ethan Allen sofa/entry/hallway table was found for us by a friend at a yard sale. It was done in Ancient Burgundy and Vanilla Steam.

This chair was mostly already prim, just added some stain and the wooden star nails.



This desk was listed on Craigslist and I tried to buy it but the seller told me I was an hour to late. But one of my frequent clients brought it to me the next day and asked me to prim it for her daughter's room. They gave me three different options for color, all in the green spectrum. Yikes, they left the final choice up to me. Here is what it looked like before I started.



I chose Limeade green, thought it was closest to the green I normally used. Nancy said when they picked up the desk, that the daughter was very pleased with it.





This dresser was brought by my client's mother. This is the finished piece.





This chair was sold at a youth yard sale. They were raising money for a missions trip to Mexico. I left the seat pad as it was, thought it was already way cool, and made the rest prim white.



This piece I bought from a Craigslist ad. The young guy I bought it from told me that he and his brother made it one summer to keep from getting bored.

Americana

This desk was included as part of a purchase of another desk that I did want. I thought I'd just part this one out, but after getting it home and inspecting it, decided that it was in pretty good shape and should be redone. Since July is just around the corner I felt this desk was begging to be done in Americana style.







Picked this piece up at auction. I think I like the pin stripe series almost as much as I do the checkerboard.

A couple more pieces

Picked this coffee table up at an auction. When I went to the auction the next morning to pick up my purchases, I couldn't find this anywhere. There was another gentleman loading his purchases into a horse trailer. The trailer was pretty well loaded when I arrived and on a hunch, I asked the guy if he'd loaded my coffee table by mistake.

Checking with the auction house personnel and his own helpers, we determined that he probably had, but rather then unload everything he agreed to go unload and then bring back the missing table.

He did and now it is finished, just drying before being taken to the shop.



We attend Heritage Alliance and several of the youth are traveling to Mexico to help a Missions medical out reach. They were having a yard sale to help raise funds. I bought this small child's desk at the yard sale and now this is what it looks like.







This next desk is one I saw on Craigslist but when I contacted the seller, learned it had sold an hour before. The next day I got an email from a client telling me she had a new project for me to tackle. I had this feeling that it was the desk I had seen on CL. Sure enough, so here is what it looks like now. She asked me to do it in green and black with some stars, so here is the before pic, I'll put the after pic up when I'm done.
